Department of Biochemistry

Biochemsitry is thought in large group in lecture halls and small groups in dissection hall and demo rooms. Practicals are conducted for small group in histology lab as well. Interactive teaching methods like flipped classroom method, problem based learning, jigsaw method are often used for large and small group teaching. We have successfully integrated technology into our classrooms which give a better insight of the subject. Digital microscope, e content and video based early clinical exposure are few examples of this. To make students attentive in a large group, we have instant quizzes using Kahoot, quizzlet or google form, polls everywhere and so on. Feedback is also collected from students about the teaching methodology
