Department of Pathology

The department of Pathology was founded in the year 2003 with the goal of offering graduate study in Pathology. Since its inception, it has been engaged in education, diagnosis and research. The department occupies 1250 sq.meters and located in the first floor of Sree Balaji Medical College and a central lab occupying 600 sq.meters in the first floor of Royal Balaji Hospital. The department is committed to promote excellence in the academic, research and practice of pathology and to maintain the highest standards through training, assessments, examinations and professionalism, for the benefit of students and the patients alike. The department of pathology includes 22 faculty members, 30 post graduates and 250 MBBS students.
