Department of Psychiatry

The Department of psychiatry at SBMCH was started in the year 2009. Since then, it has expanded from a small group of doctors to a unit of committed, clinically sound and academically oriented faculty members supported by sincere and well trained staff members. We have a yearly intake of 2 postgraduates for MD Psychiatry course. Our goal has been to emphasise postgraduate and undergraduate student training in order to foster their clinical skills and research abilities while also assuring their overall development. Our department is distinguished by its passion to provide excellent, affordable and holistic mental health care to everyone.
