About the Department / Program

The Cleft & Craniofacial Centre at the Sree Balaji Medical college and Hospital is a brand new state-of-the-art multidisciplinary facility for children with cleft and craniofacial deformities. We are located in in the third and fourth floors of the admin building in the Sree Balaji Medical College and Rela Hospital campus

Our Mission

We are fully equipped for clinical, academic and research services for which we have assembled a dedicated team of specialists including plastic and maxillofacial surgeons, speech & language pathologists, orthodontic and other dental specialists, nutritionist, feeding nurse etc. .

Our Vision

to deliver state of the art treatment to all our patients irrespective of their socio-economic conditions. Apart from the unstinted support from the management, administration and faculty of Sree Balaji Medical College & Hospital and Dr Rela Institute & Medical Centre, we have received generous help from philanthropic organisations like Smile Train, Transforming Faces Worldwide, Ekam Foundation and several generous individual donors.

Academics

Current Academic Program: In the academic year 2020-21 following courses are being offered: UG Program, viz., MBBS and AHS,. Non Semester System: Non Semester system is followed in all of the academic program in order to enlarge curricular space and encourage more learning opportunities. Moreover, the latter enhances the ability to accommodate diverse choices that dynamic and motivated students may like to have
