Internal Quality Assessment Cell was inaugurated on 20th October, 2010 by Dr. S. Balakrishnan, Dean of SBMCH. All the HODs of clinical, Non clinical and Superspecinlity departments attended the Inaugural Meeting of IQAC. The IQAC may channelize and systematize the efforts and measures of an institution towards academic excellence. The IQAC should become a driving foree for ushering in quality by working out intervention strategies to remove deficiencies and enhance quality.
Established in 1971, this department has evolved over time in providing the best of care to patients and also training post graduates. The Department of Anaesthesiology at Kasturba Medical College Manipal aids patients with perioperative care, pain management for both minimally invasive and complex open surgeries.
